ABCD's of objective research.
Objective research is what a research project is designed to achieve; its purpose and expected use, defined in general and specific terms.
The ABCD's of objective research:
A- Audience (The person doing the behaviour.)
B- Behaviour (A verb)
C- Condition (Conditions under which the behaviour should be performed.)
D- Degree (Acceptable level of performance.)
In simpler terms:
A- Students
B- What you want the students to do
C- What circumstance | How
D- To what extent will the learning be.
The ABCD's allow for effective teaching and learning within lessons.
Mrs. Marsh allowed us to create objectives using this method, we were then given the opportunity to share our objectives in order to be constructively criticized or complimented where necessary.
Example:
KEY
A- Audience (The person doing the behaviour.)
B- Behaviour (A verb)
C- Condition (Conditions under which the behaviour should be performed.)
D- Degree (Acceptable level of performance.)
Students will be able to recite numbers 1-10 in Spanish after listening to each Spanish number song played.
Thank You for viewing Hannah Bell's Blog!
I hope you use this method when creating objectives for your very own lessons.
